Employee Group Benefit Plan Options
Here is what some of our clients have had to say about us.
"Bruce is a diligent and knowledgeable benefit advisor who always covers the best interest of his clients. I highly recommend businesses in the Kelowna and Okanagan area to talk to Bruce and his team. Over his years of experience, Bruce has become the expert in the dynamics of health and dental plans, helping owner operators and companies provide solid, cost effective coverage for their employees."

"I have bought insurance from Bruce for many years not an easy task for him as I hate insurance. He has made something that I dislike as easy as it could be and has come up with creative options for us that have worked well."
"When I first spoke with Bruce about having an issue with my insurance disability claim, I knew that I had some hope. Due to Bruce's expertise and persistence, my claim was reinstated.
Thank You Bruce for going above and beyond. Both my wife & I appreciate your help in this matter. I would Highly Recommend Bruce Hollett & Associates."

"I just wanted to thank you so very much for your help with my disability claim. Right from the start I had the feeling you were really on my side and would do all you could to help me. You knew I had a legitimate claim because you knew both my wife and myself and saw both of us threw the years. When I had had problems with my health you were always there to do what ever you could to represent my interests. I never felt that I was on my own fighting a big heartless insurance company. I think the companies, and people you represent should also be pleased that you help put a kinder, more human face on a business that has always been considered cold and heartless. I am even sure my health was better for the fact that I knew I had your help and was not as stressed as I could have been. Both Barb and I thank you very much for your help in resolving my claim for disability benefits."

"If you ever need anyone to speak on the value of out of country insurance keep me in mind. The total is now over $500,000 for less than 3 weeks in a US hospital."
"On July 3, 2002 at the hospital I was told I had Achalasia in its last stages. The doctor told me that it was a non-fixed condition, which means there was no surgical procedure. The damage to the upper Gl track was extensive and could not be repaired. The prescription of Nexium was the only solution that might help.
I contacted the agent who sold us our Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance plan and explained to him that I would not be returning to work, and had been told by my doctors to file a claim for disability. He told me that he did not do disability claims, that someone else was overseeing those claims and he would put me in touch with him. I never heard from anyone. I did receive a faxed copy of a claim form to send to Winnipeg. I sent this in with all my medical information. My claim was declined because of the prescription they had given me at the hospital on July 3, 2002. The insurance company said it was a pre-existing condition. At this time, I also applied for Canada Pension disability which was approved immediately. Canada Pension said I should send my letter to the insurance company, which I did, and it was again turned down for the same reason.
On September 20, 2004, Bruce Hollett came into the office - where I was doing some volunteer work, and we started discussing insurance. I was very angry and bitter towards the Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance Company after the way I had been treated. Bruce asked me about my situation and I explained to him how I had been ignored and turned down by the insurance company. Four days later, Bruce called and asked for details about my situation. He listened to me and assured me that I qualified for disability, that the pre-existing condition did not apply, and that he would look into this for me, at no cost for me. Bruce had nothing to gain by challenging the Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance plan's decision to decline my claim.
On Nov. 16, 2004, Bruce wrote to the Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance Company to explain my situation and asked them to reconsider my claim. On Nov. 26, I received a letter stating my disability claim had been approved and the amount of disability benefit I would be receiving.
I had given up on ever receiving any benefit from the Chamber of Commerce Group Insurance Company and was very surprised when Bruce was able to have this settled so fast. Bruce had assured me that I was entitled to this and didn't give up. He is a man of his word.
I highly recommend Bruce Hollett & Associates for exceptional service, personal caring, and knowledge. For anyone who is considering a new employee benefit plan, or thinking of replacing their existing plan, I would recommend they talk to Bruce first."
